Cheers & Jeers returns

This is usually a mindless post for me to post my opinions on celebrity gossip and such but I must say that 2 very serious JEERS were what made me want to return to Cheers and Jeers today....

CHEERS to Robin Roberts for her open battle with MDS. My Nana died from this horrible disease and I pray all the best for Ms. Roberts as she battles this herself. I know how hard it was for my Nana to handle and I cannot imagine going through such a disease in the public eye. I find it incredibly strong of her to be open about her disease and I cannot imagine what it would be like to battle cancer in the first place let alone in the public eye. I applaud her courage and pray her battle through this awful disease has a happy ending.

JEERS to comedians(and I am SURE there are more than just these two for making light of extremely serious events. Tosh.0 recently apologized for a rape joke but apparently his dead baby joke is still funny to him as it is on his site! In this joke they show a realistic baby cake being cut into (which i admit IS weird) while he makes 20 seconds worth of miscarriage, dead baby, and abortion jokes.... then jokes about celebrating a co-workers abortion with horrific 'dead fetus' cupcakes. HERE is the video - it IS disturbing!

Dane Cook also made a stupid dead baby joke that I recently watched. Something about swearing on his unborn child that he didn't eat his friend's ice cream and then went on to say that in the future if he has a child and something happens and this child dies that his friend will think he ate his ice cream and he would call him up and say no dude that was a fluke I swear on my NEXT unborn child. He recently apologized for joking about the Colorado theater massacre (no dead baby joke apology that i could find)....FREAKING MORON that crap is NOT funny! WTH is wrong with these comedians?

CHEERS to Katie Holmes for what seems to be her motherly instinct to protect her daughter from the Scientologists. I am not one to judge other religious beliefs but the research out there shows it to be a very scary and controlling religion. I am not condoning divorce just saying cheers to her for protecting her daughter!

JEERS to the woman who BLOGGED about her abortion - pics and all....Seriously? NO ONE wants to see your abortion in a jar and that fact that this woman decided to blog about her abortion in NO way is heroic. Honestly it's just sickening. My friend posted about this on Facebook and I believe she is pro-choice so she probably thought this was great because it “proved” that there is no “LIFE” at 6 weeks. Well I beg to differ THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I saw my child's HEARTBEAT at 6 weeks! Don't tell me there's no life then. If you choose to do the appalling act of abortion (sorry if you are pro-choice – I am not and this is my blog so I can state my opinions I do not wish to debate them with you and will not post stupid comments that people make in regards to this so don't bother) then DEAL with the fact that you killed a child don't write a freaking blog to make yourself feel better – SO STUPID – and INCREDIBLY disrespectful to your child's life and to every person out there who has lost a child. ADOPTION PEOPLE – ADOPTION! Ugh – that is all I will say.... THIS is the article which links to the blog post which IS disturbing!

CHEERS to Matthew McConnaughey for finally getting hitched! According to THIS article they are going to have a 3rd child too - CONGRATS! They are one beautiful family :)

Cheers to Conan's show where he plays up that his Production Assistant Christ Ultimo should be on the Jersey shore TV show- HILARIOUS

Jeers to all the people that decorate their house for Christmas by doing TONS of blow up decorations that I have affectionately (note sarcasm) named "BLOWUP THROW UP" because they make me want to throw up! I hate them - I find them boring and a waste of electric and yard space.  This picture is what I would like to do to every blow up throw up house LOL
(sorry if you are one of these sad houses LOL)

Cheers to The Christmas Can-Can by Straight No Chaser – I LOVE IT!

WATCH IT darn it – it's GREAT! (If you like it check out 12 Days of Christmas too!!)

Jeers to books that are turned into movies when the director makes the ending COMPLETELY different than the ending of the book - SO DUMB! For instance My Sister's Keeper. Also movies like Mystic River that had significantly important info missing!

On that note though minus a few changes from the book and age discrepancies with the main character I really like Charlie St. Cloud!

Cheers to Pink and revealing her pregnancy on the Ellen show (at least that's where I saw it). She is a BLM too – she had a miscarriage in the past – here's hoping this is her rainbow baby!!! :)

Jeers to Tony Parker for cheating on his wife Eva Longoria-Parker. How downright pathetic – and I don't care is supposedly there was no physical relationship you don't text with a “friend” at 2am when you are married (or in a relationship)! And one of the magazines was like he's 28 and he has needs and a sexual drive so it's not surprising because well ladies apparently men are only driven by their privates. OH give me a break!

 

Cheers to The Whole Truth having a new episode on stupid ABC (if you remember in a previous Cheers and Jeers I was Jeering the fact that they canceled the show – I still hold to this jeer by the way)

And according to this this article apparently they are going to air the rest of the 6 episodes they filmed. To at least there's that. But seriously I am still very upset they canceled it!

Jeers to Kate Gosselin for her reaction to her kids getting expelled from school. They were supposedly kicked out because of hitting, fighting, and swearing. She apparently told them they won't go to heaven and Jesus doesn't love bad people. What a HORRIBLE thing to say to your kids. Maybe instead of fighting with your husband about which of you taught your kids awful behavior you should just work on improving it! Geesh!

Cheers to locking up Wesley Snipes for tax evasion – I love the Blade (vampire movies before the Twilight jazz came about) star and what not – FABULOUS in those movies but I have a VERY hard time feeling sorry for an incredibly wealthy person who evades taxes. So way to go on making him pay for it. Supposedly he's in for three years but we all have seen the pathetic sentences of Martha Stewart, Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan and so on and so forth.

Jeers to Bill Clinton having an appearance in The Hangover 2 that man has gotten far too many laughs and publicity for his “inhaling” past and sexual past in and out of the White House. It's just stupid. I will still watch the movie though. I will just frown when he shows up ;) OH and I know the movie is incredibly inappropriate, possibly severely offensive to some, and politically incorrect but WOW The Hangover was SO funny!

Cheers – to Russell Brand on Conan – he is stinking hilarious – he talked about monarchy, the royal wedding, the queens chest LOL – needless to say watch it – it's hilarious!

Jeers to Angelina Jolie who bought her daughter Shiloh a taxidermic bird after she asked if she could have a dead pet. Two things are wrong with this situation – one REALLY Angelina do you want your daughter to grow up to get married and wear a tube of her husband's blood around her next? Since that worked so well for you.... Two what precisely have you been letting your child do, or watch, or whatever that would get her to ask for a DEAD pet – that is worrisome. 

Cheers to Dennis Quaid and Ellen – she gives him an earpiece and has him repeat everything she says to someone who seriously has no idea what he is doing. There have been a variety of times the two of them have done this – she's had other celebrities do that too but I just included this one.

JEERS to people with Christmas decorations up and all the stores playing Christmas music already! ONE HOLIDAY AT A TIME PEOPLE! Can you please celebrate Thanksgiving before you fast forward to Christmas! Geesh.

CHEERS to GLEE featuring Gwenyth Paltrow! She has such a great voice. I saw her in the movie Duets – it's about karaoke contests (I happen to LOVE LOVE LOVE karaoke)

While it hasn't aired yet I am SUPER excited to see it tomorrow night!

JEERS to ABC for being a bunch of MORONS and canceling the new TV show “The Whole Truth”after only airing 5 freaking episodes! They say that there have not been enough viewers.... well you gave people FIVE episodes for goodness sake! The least you can do is let them complete the season... it was my FAVORITE new show this year. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! Supposedly they are letting them film the next 8 episodes but they may not air – totally illogical! Even more illogical is they are replacing them with stupid reality shows. I'm so not happy – AT ALL!

CHEERS to the fabulous new Microsoft invention KINECT! I'm super psyched to get this sometime soon I HOPE! Check out the video below – it is a little boy with his family trying out Dance Central (one of the games) it is SOOOO cute!

JEERS to Heidi and Spencer Pratt now renewing their vows. First they eloped in Mexico, then got married on The Hills, she filed for divorce in July, and now this is their “real” wedding for “them”! UGH – seriously who cares! It's bad enough the girl has had like over 20 plastic surgery procedures done and we had to hear about that... geesh. NO ONE CARES ABOUT “SPEIDI”

CHEERS to Joel McHale! I have always thought he was hilarious on The Soup but he definitely made that obvious to way more people when Community first aired! There are so many hilarious episodes. The paintball one was definitely my favorite though! Reminded me of Left for Dead (a computer/video game me and my husband love)

JEERS to Sarah Palin and her new reality show "Sarah Palin's Alaska". The few that did take her seriously won't anymore. Some articles say it may help her gain fans if she runs in 2012. We shall see I suppose. Also it annoys the crap out of me that the woman's hair is perfect no matter what is she doing! In the one preview while skeet shooting her daughter tells her to "take her prom hair and go home" - THAT is pretty funny.

CHEERS  to Kristin Wigg on SNL for her HILARIOUS skit playing Paula Deen – it's SO funny! Whether you like Paula Deen or not – SO FUNNY! I love the way she says oil (she pronounces it more like OWL hehe) and when she shows the pic of her husband and calls him “Santalicious” haha! So much other stuff. So watch the video it's only a couple minutes long! IT WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH TRUST ME! We all need a good laugh!

Cheers to Austrailia's Today show spoke briefly of Lily Allen and had actual women who have experienced child loss on the show to discuss it. The clip is below. Thanks to Kara at Random Musings for posting this :)

Jeers to the public scrutiny and response to Lily Allens' stillbirth – saying things such as she doesn't deserve to be a mother because of past drug use and all this crap – people need to have some respect!! She is now in the hospital for a fatal blood poisoning condition: Click here for more info

Cheers to fabulous sitcoms like The Office – I LOVED the latest episode (The Christening) where Dwight stated that people should not use hand sanitizer but instead get sick to build strength and immunity – then he “welcomed” people sneezing on him LOL – also cheers to the mean girl episode of Community – down right HILARIOUS (guest star was Hilary Duff)

Jeers to Jennifer Lopez for telling American Idol contestants that trying to sing her songs is cute but it is not going to get them through (she says it's flattering kinda seems to me that she is just thinking that there is not possible way for others to sing it better – maybe I am too judgmental on this one LOL)

Cheers to Paranormal Activity & Paranormal Activity 2 for being great suspenseful creepy movies without being filled with the normal gory crap that is common for recent movies in this genre.

Jeers to Megan Fox who I have read continually saying she thinks she looks like a man - “I am pretty sure I am a doppelgänger for Alan Alda. I’m a tranny. I’m a man. I’m so painfully insecure. I’m on the verge of vomiting now. I am so horrified that I am here, and embarrassed. I’m scared.” (Megan Fox on the red carpet at the 2009 Golden Globes)

Cheers to TBS for bringing back CONAN! I love Conan O'Brien – weird and totally odd but crazy hilarious. Also a big cheer for adding Andy Richter to the show. :) (It starts this Monday at 11pm weekly for those who rock and also want to watch Conan)

Kirstie Allie - well she makes me mad - she was totally lying when she did Jenny Craig and said she weighed 220 - gimme a break I weigh 30 lbs. more than that AND I am not as tall as her and I don't look as big - I know I'm not lying so she definitely is) - so they can diss her I don't care - I am all for losing weight but don't lie about it in the process!
Oprah - yea she's got dieting issue but honestly her head looks too big when she gets skinny...
Kelly LeBrock - she's still beautiful - you can't look 20 forever!
Jessica Simpson - shut up people - she is beautiful even if she wears AWFUL jeans!
